it’s just before sunrise on the lake as i open my tackle box and begin deciding which fishing lure to start the day with.  the air is cool from the night, but not so cold that it’s unpleasant.  the only sound is the gentle lapping of water against the boat and the occasional far-off cry of a bird beginning its day.  i have a good breakfast in me, hot coffee in my thermos, and plenty of sunscreen for when the sun climbs into the sky.  the only thing missing from this picture is a couple of fish on my line; a matter which will be shortly change thanks in no small part to the quality fishing lures i picked up last weekend.
